Yes, K Sandwiches Is Rebuilding In Clairemont Mesa

March 8, 2017

Extremely popular K Sandwiches burnt to the ground in August 2015 after an oven fire caused $1.5million in damages. Longtime fans feared that it would never reopen, but the Clairemont Mesa-based Vietnamese sandwich shop took to social media this week to announce that they will rise from the ashes and have begun the process of rebuilding, hoping to reopen by year's end.

Owned by Jennifer Tran, K Sandwiches opened at 7604 Linda Vista Road in 2006 and quickly became popular for its inexpensive and delicious Vietnamese Bahn mi sandwiches. The fast-casual eatery will be very similar to the previous incarnation and continue serving a menu of Bahn mi sandwiches, incredible croissants, fresh baked bread, smoothies, and more.

We cannot wait until K Sandwiches reopens, as we absolutely love their fresh jalapeño and cream cheese stuffed croissants. For more information, visit ksandwiches.com.
