Owners Francois Patanchon and Gaelle Vincent were inspired by the culture and vibrancy of Spain and wanted to bring that energy to Southern California. Vincent designed the style of Tapas & Beers, which boasts a clean and modern look. One of the most notable design elements includes the use of beautiful reclaimed wood and sleek, industrial design in the bi-level space.
"We are thrilled with how both the menu and restaurant design have come together," said Vincent. "We have a truly eclectic menu, from tapas to artisan spreads, crostinis and amazing flatbreads. The menu is both delicious and unique."
Patanchon created the lengthy and eclectic Tapas & Beers menu, mixing locally sourced ingredients with traditional recipes to give guests a taste from abroad. The From the Farm section of the menu offers items like the sausage plate, which includes bratwurst, spicy pork, sweet Italian sausage, Andouille and other spicy specials, while From the Plancha portion offers dishes like beer marinated baby back ribs, beef sliders on Brazilian cheese bread, and baked brie with cranberry preserve. There are also a variety of crostinis and flatbreads, as well as other items like burgers, sandwiches, paninis, salads, soups, and dishes like a seafood paella, which will be featured on Thursdays..
No dish is complete without a little liquid sunshine, and Tapas & Beers has carefully selected several types of local hops to complement the textures and spices in each tapas recipe. There will be 20 drafts on taps with 18 microbrewery varieties. Seating includes a large communal dining space, alongside a gorgeous porcelain bar. Ample outdoor patio seating is also available for true al fresco dining under the stars or sun.
Tapas & Beers is located at 926 Broadway Circle and is open Monday through Friday from 11am to 11pm with Happy Hour from 4-6pm, Saturday from 8am to 11pm and Sunday from 8am-4pm. Weekend Brunch will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am-2pm with the traditional menu also available starting at 11am.
