One of San Diego's top barbecue restaurants is gearing up for the launch of its second location. North Park's Grand Old BBQ y Asado is teaming up with local hospitality group Social Syndicate (The Local, Wonderland, OB Surf Lodge) for a second outpost, heading out to Flinn Springs in San Diego's East County.

The restaurant has been looking to expand for some time and has found assistance in Mina Desiderio's Social Syndicate restaurant developement group, known for such projects as Bootlegger, Resident Brewing, Wonderland, The Rabbit Hole, OB Surf Lodge, The Local Downtown & Pacific Beach and coming soon the second location of Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill.
