The owners of the recently opened Giardino in Lemon Grove are gearing up to launch a two-story waterfront restaurant in Imperial Beach. Veradina will take over the 2,800 square-foot space that last housed Barrels on Seacoast in San Diego's South County.
From Marco Provino and Karina Kravalis, the duo that opened Giardino in Lemon Grove last Fall, Veradina will be a bi-level Italian restaurant with a menu of classic Sicilian dishes, including homemade pasta and fresh seafood. The eatery will offer an expansive sidewalk patio and bar, as well as two tiers of interior dining spacel including a second floor with ocean views. Provino is a native Sicilian that has worked in the kitchen's in San Diego's Osetra Fish House and Osteria Panevino.
Veradina is anticipated to launch this Spring at 710 Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach.
