July 30, 2018

Moving into a 4,500 square foot corner unit within Mercado del Barrio in San Diego's Barrio Logan is a brewery restaurant from Attitude Brewing Company.

Founded by Portland, Oregon-native and longtime homebrewer Kurt Bach, Attitude Brewing aims to embrace San Diego's cross-border influence and produce both Mexico and San Diego-inspired brews from a 7.5 barrel brewing system. Former Mike Hess Brewing Company brewer Carlos Appel is also currently working with Attitude, and along with Bach, is currently in the process of developing a lineup of craft beer options that include a several IPAs, as well as a blonde ale, Mexican lager, and a dry-hopped saison. The company hopes to one day serve its creations on both sides of the border.
