San Diego's Pardon My French Bar & Kitchen took to Facebook last night to announce the restaurant's immediate closure.
In 2016, dynamic husband and wife duo Eric & Lindsey Fillion purchased Heat Bar & Kitchen on the border of Hillcrest and North Park. They kept the place pretty much as was, retained the same staff and only closed for two days before reopening as the rebranded Pardon My French Bar & Kitchen. The restaurant settled into its own with a French-inspired bistro menu and a boozy weekend brunch, but the combination of a tough location and increased labor/operating costs likely became more than the couple could handle.
There is no word yet on what will come of the space at 3797 Park Boulevard in Hillcrest.
