East Village San Diego's Cowboy Star Restaurant & Butcher Shop To Launch Premium Wagyu Beef Jerky Line With Kickstarter Campaign

Cowboy Star Restaurant and Butcher Shop, which has locations in San Diego's East Village and Colorado Springs, has announced the upcoming launch of C-Star Provisions Premium Wagyu Beef Jerky. The launch comes on the heels of C-Star’s 10th anniversary in San Diego and is inspired by one of the restaurant’s most beloved bar snacks.

On Monday, August 13, Cowboy Star will launch a Kickstarter campaign to debut the Wagyu Beef Jerky and raise funds for its roll out later this year. Leveraging only the finest select natural ingredients and beef from the nation’s leading Certified Humane Wagyu herd from Snake River Farms, C-Star Provisions Wagyu Beef Jerky is hormone, antibiotic and gluten free, full of protein and contains no nitrates, GMO's or artificial ingredients.

"When Chef Victor, our partner and chef in Cowboy Star, first created the Wagyu beef jerky to serve as a snack to our guests in the bar, we were blown away," said Jon Weber, co-founder of Cowboy Star. "It’s unlike anything you’ve had before! We joke that it’s developed a cult-like following at the restaurant and butcher shop and it’s truly our guests love of it that inspired us to explore launching it beyond our four walls."
