Country Boy Fried Chicken To Open In San Diego's Pacific Beach

Moving into the 2,000 square foot space that last housed the short-lived Lil' Farmers Cafe on the corner of Garnet & Cass in San Diego's Pacific Beach is the flagship location of Country Boy Fried Chicken, a fast-casual eatery that hopes to become a prevalent franchise.

From owner Sean Fitzhugh, who previously operated a similar concept as Twins Chicken in the Seattle area of Washington, Country Boy Fried Chicken will offer a menu centered around twice-fried chicken tenders available in original & spicy styles and served in combo platters with homemade rolls or crinkle-cut fries and sauces. Fitzhugh hopes his concept will grow to become a global franchise similar to Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, which launched its first location in San Diego earlier this year.

Country Boy Fried Chicken will be located at 1001 Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach and aims to open by early 2019. For more information, visit twinschickentenders.com.
