Pure Project Brewing's Expansion Now Includes North County San Diego

November 8, 2018

Fresh off last month's news that Pure Project Brewing would be opening a 2,000 square-foot tasting room in Bankers Hill, we have learned that the popular craft brewery is also opening a branch in Carlsbad Village.

Jesse Pine and Mat Robar initially hoped to open their craft brewery in the Central America country of Costa Rica, but administrative hurdles forced them to settle on San Diego. With experienced brewmaster Winslow Sawyer on board, the team launched in a 1,625 square foot, 7-barrel brewing system space within HG Fenton's Brewery Igniter campus in Miramar in January 2016 and have become one of San Diego's leading craft beer destinations known for their delicious brews made with quality ingredients.

In addition to a tasting room installing within the new, luxury high rise, The Park, being constructed at 2865 Fifth Avenue adjacent to Balboa Park in Bankers Hill, Pure Project is also hoping to open an outpost at 2825 State Street in the building that currently houses a tactical gear supply store in San Diego's North County community of Carlsbad. The tasting room is still in the approval stages, so details are limited. If approved, like the Bankers Hill and Miramar site, the North County location will continue to work with and donate to the One Percent for the Planet company.

Pure Project's main brewery is located at 9030 Kenamar Dr. #308 in Miramar. For more information, visit purebrewing.org.
