With nearly 300 stores around the globe, including an already announced outpost heading to Del Mar, Joe & The Juice has announced that it will open a second San Diego branch in La Jolla in 2019.
Joe & The Juice bills itself as "the most well-traveled juice bar and coffee concept on the planet." Easily spotted amongst a sea of corporate chains with its photo booths, open air ordering, and pop artsy atmospheres - each Joe & The Juice is more a la mode than the last. Founded in Copenhagen in 2002 by CEO Kaspar Basse, Joe & The Juice serves high-quality, natural, and organic ingredients in its freshly prepared juices, shakes, coffee, flatbread sandwiches and breakfasts. With more than 70 stores to open worldwide in 2018 (and over 270 in total) Joe & The Juice continues to expand its global presence with the opening of two locations in San Diego.
The first location of Joe & The Juice will open in Del Mar's incoming One Paseo, expected to unveil by early 2019. The second branch will move into Westfield UTC mall in La Jolla as part of the retail site's ambitious overhaul. For all its Los Angeles stores, local artists and antique store buyers sourced all of the artwork, decor, and furniture from area purveyors. The same will likely occur in San Diego. Expect the La Jolla location to open by Spring 2019.
