Opening in the Miramar industrial complex that also houses Pure Project and Duck Foot Brewing Co. is Invoak Brewing & Blending, a new San Diego craft brewery focused on barrel-aged beers.
From Alex Montelbano - who previously managed Hillcrest's The Brew Project/Project Bar & Grill, 32 North Brewing Company, and AleSmith's Tasting Room - Invoak Brewing will focus on the re-emerging beer trend of barrel blending, an unpredictable process of combining two beers together and aging the mix in a wooden barrel. The brewery will also house an onsite tasting room.
Invoak will sit at 8860 Kenamar Drive, Suite 308, in San Diego's Miramar area and is not expected to open until mid-to-late 2019.
