SeaWorld's Seven Seas Craft Beer & Food Festival Returns To San Diego From March 9 - April 28

March 2, 2019

The Seven Seas Craft Beer & Food Festival returns to SeaWorld San Diego during the weekends from March 9 through April 28, offering visitors the opportunity to experience a global culinary voyage with more than 50 food options and over 100 beers!

This spring, SeaWorld attendees can enjoy an epicurean adventurer around the world without ever leaving San Diego, as the marine park’s Seven Seas Craft Beer & Food Festival will present more than 55 food items (including 33 that are brand new this year), an all-new Flavors of India realm, 127 beer options, several wine varietals and live entertainment on three stages. All that one needs for this gastronomic trip is admission to SeaWorld and a Seven Seas Passport!

Seven Seas has something for everyone, including fans who come back year after year for the most popular grilled lamb slider. For those seeking something new, there’s plenty this year, including the park’s Executive Chef Dave McHugh, who joined the SeaWorld family last summer. McHugh’s goal was to honor a lot of the Seven Seas favorites, but also put his own culinary spin on the event with dishes like the new pork belly calzone, bacon-wrapped pork tenders, and Nutella banana crepe. There will also be plenty of beer! Each weekend during Seven Seas, three different San Diego craft breweries will be featured, with opportunities for guests to meet the brewers. Locals Eppig Brewing, Green Flash Brewing Co. and Mike Hess Brewing are among those on tap to participate. While guests are savoring and sipping from the Seven Seas menu, they can also take in the sounds, with live music performed on three stages.

"Come back and enjoy that delicious lamb slider, but also try some of the 33 brand-new items this year, like the pretzel melt Reuben or potato samosas, with those bread elements coming right out of the hearth of our own bakery," said Chef McHugh. "We also are whipping up fresh roulades and authentic, hand-crafted pastry crème Napoleons. From savory to sweet, we want everyone to come out and share food and fun with friends and family."

The Seven Seas Craft Beer & Food Festival will take place on the weekends of March 9-10, March 16-17, March 23-24, March 30-31, April 6-7, April 13-14, April 20-21, and April 27-28. Admission to the festival is included with park admission, with options for a la carte purchases ranging from $5 to $6.50 for food items, or with a Taster Sampler card priced at $50 for the 10-item card and $65 for the 15-item card. Beer and wine can also be purchased a la carte either in sampler size or full size.
