Enjoy some of the city's finest food & beverage purveyors paired with cheeses from around the globe at Liquid City's inaugural San Diego Cheese Expo 2019, taking over Brick event center in Liberty Station on Sunday, May 19, from 1:30-9pm. Enter our raffle for a chance to win 2 tickets!

Renowned as a world class "liquid city", our spectacular seaside metropolis of San Diego will be the setting for LIQUID CITY: CHEESE EXPO 2019.  Bringing together a curated list of the area's top breweries, coffee roasters, distillers, kombucha and cider makers, this one day exposition will feature unique one-off collaborations, educational presentations, demonstrations, and explorations with cheesemakers from across the United States paired with some of our own, home-grown liquid talents.

The carefully chosen Liquid Creators serving samples at this year's event include Boochcraft Hard Kombucha, Fall Brewing, Mostra Coffee, Modern Times Beer, Pure Project, Societe Brewing, Alesmith, Raging Cider & Meads and more. The exquisite list of invited cheesemakers and distributors include Utah's Beehive Cheese Company, Vermont's Cellars at Jasper Hill, New York's Columbia Cheese, Switzerland's Gruyere 1655, Vermont's Spring Brook Farm, Northern California's Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery, Di Stefano Cheese of Los Angeles, Wisconsin's Hook’s Cheese, Central Coast Creamery of Paso Robles,  San Diego's own Cheesesmith, Cypress Grove of Northern California, the Venissimo Raclette Bar from San Diego, France's Isigny Sainte Mere, Point Reyes Farmstead from Northern California and Laura Chenel's Chèvre from Northern California. Curds and Wine will also be participating.

In addition to unlimited cheese and bottomless liquids, there will also be educational programs led by such industry pros as Rachel Dutton Lab, Erik Fowler of White Labs, Morgan Tenwick of Modern Times, Chris Townsend MacDonald of Filament.Science, and many more. Fede and Shannon of Hoppy Beer Hoppy Life will also have a booth for your Liquid merch needs and there will be an Interactive Education Paddock with goats, lambs and a heifer bringing the farm to the Brick with Farmer and Cheese Maker Jack Ford of TAJ Farms.

All inclusive tickets to Liquid City: Cheese Expo 2019 are available online for $55 for general admission (3-6pm entry) annd $65 for VIP passes, which includes early entry at 1:30pm for a VIP session where there will be a fish cutting demo by Tommy Gomes of Catalina Offshore Products, as well as a VIP only Swag Bag annd more. All attendees will receive a cheese spreader, a take home tasting glass, and an Expo Passport.
