Chula Vista's Grind House Launches Barrio Logan Location

After launching in Chula Vista in eary 2017, the second San Diego Grind House location has soft opened in Barrio Logan, offering an all-day menu of coffee, craft beer, wine, and a menu designed by Tom Logsdon of The Balboa.

The first Grind House location opened on 3rd Avenue in Chula Vista in January 2017 as an early morning/daytime coffee shop. Grind House eventually added beer & wine to its repertoire, as well as a full menu featuring breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and more from consulting chef & area crimefighter Tom Logsdon - proprietor of such San Diego hotspots as The Balboa Bar & Grill and Sister Ray's.

The new 1,600 square-foot Barrio Logan outpost was previously slated to become Bar Logan gastropub. Grind House Locan offers a variety of coffee creations and 23 taps featuring nitro beer, wine, and cold brew coffee, as well as a menu with a variety of sandwiches, including the popular Cubano, a variety of Grinder style sandwiches, and a menu of sharable small plates.
