In just their 2nd season, the San Diego Legion will host the Major League Rugby National Championship game against the defending champions Seattle Seawolves this Sunday, June 16, starting at 1pm, at Torero Stadium on the University of San Diego campus. Founded in 2018, San Diego Legion is a Major League Rugby team led by President & General Manager Matt Hawkins with Head Coach Rob Hoadley. The team is made up of high-profile athletes and renowned rugby players from around the world. The team secured a third place finish in their inaugural season, and after a nailbiting last minute win in the playoff semi-finals last week, the team is looking to make San Diego sports history this Sunday.
The San Diego Legion looks to take revenge against the Seattle Seawolves, as that team knocked them out in last year's playoffs. Limited tickets are currently
