San Diego's Health-Focused Swami's Cafe Targets Del Sur Town Center For 12th Location

June 11, 2019

The popular San Diego-born healthy breakfast & lunch destination Swami's Cafe will open its 12th area location within the space that last housed Sababa Kitchen Mediterranean restaurant in Del Sur Town Center.

Owner Jaime Osuna opened his first Swami's location on Highway 101 in Encinitas in 2005, offering a breakfast and lunch menu centered around healthier options and dishes made with fresh local ingredients. Osuna has since opened nine additional Swami's outposts in San Diego County - in North Park, Point Loma's Midway District, Carlsbad, La Mesa, Poway, Encinitas Inland, Oceanside, Escondido, and Hillcrest - plus Honey's Bistro & Bakery in Encinitas. Swami's is also in the process of moving its Escondido location from 150 W Grand Avenue just down the street to 503-515 W Grand Avenue where Jalapeno Grill once was.

Like other locations, expect the menu at the new Swami's to be centered around all-day-breakfast and lunch dishes, with items ranging from acai bowls and smoothies to bacon burgers and vegetarian & vegan offerings. The new location will also feature dinner dishes like stuffed chicken breast, fish & chips, seafood cioppino, and an array of pasta and entrees. The Del Sur outpost will also offer a selection of craft beer and wines.

Swami's Cafe is anticipated to debut at 16475 Paseo Del Sur, Suite 105, in 4S Ranch by this fall. For more information, visit swamiscafe.com.
