The first collaboration concept from San Diergo-born Modern Times Beer and Consortium Holdings is finally complete. An industry-focused meat house and Italian spirits bar meets Jurassic-themed coffee shop, J & Tony's Discount Cured Meats and Negroni Bar has opened within The Invigatorium in San Diego's East Village.
Last month, two of the city's coolest producers unveiled the first half of their joint hospitality project. Expanding craft beer company Modern Times Beer and local hospitality group Consortium Holdings (Born & Raised, Morning Glory) opened a contemporary coffee house concept dubbed the The Invigatorium in the East Village space where Coffee & Tea Collective sat before recently relocating to 704 J Street. Invigatorium offers an array of coffee concoctions, cold brews, pour-over drinks, and Modern Times craft beers, as well as various vegan pastries and snacks from Split Bakehouse, all in a retro-designed space featuring a giant gold disco ball, dinosaur statues, hanging plants and a Post-It produced Godzilla mural.
