Original Eppig Brewing North Park Location To Close After Today's Service

December 1, 2019

The original Eppig Brewing location within H.G. Fenton's North Park Brewery Igniter space will close after end of service today as the three year old brewery expands its operations with a new brewery and tasting room in Vista, CA.

After a nearly two-year search, the Eppig Brewing team signed a lease late last year on an approximately 16,000 square foot building at 1347 Keystone Way in San Diego's North County area of Vista, allowing the craft brewery to increase production to meet demand, provide space for long term growth, and offer a spacious indoor/outdoor tasting room with ample guest parking. With Eppig’s recently acquired 30-barrel Deutsche Systems brewhouse and planned cellar design, annual production capacity will more than triple to approximately 3,500 barrels. Early last year, Eppig opened its first satellite location - a Waterfront Biergarten overlooking America’s Cup Harbor in Point Loma.

Eppig Brewing will be offering $3 pints on Sunday, Dec 1, from 12-7pm, as well as take-home glassware from its original North Park brewery, which opened in November 2016. After close of business, the company will move out of the Brewery Igniter space. There is no word on who will be replacing Eppig at 3052 El Cajon Boulevard, Suite C, in North Park.

Eppig Brewing honors the family’s Pre-Prohibition brewing roots, which date back to 1866 in Brooklyn, NY. Eppig Brewing offers a wide variety of award-winning beers, ranging from German lagers and classic West Coast IPAs to kettle sours. For more information, visit eppigbrewing.com.
