Boomers Reopens North County Arcade & Mini-Golf Course

June 26, 2020

Despite rumors of a complete SoCal shutdown, the Boomers location in San Diego's North County has begun a phased reopening with extensive safety measures in place.

We announced earlier this month that the Boomers locations in San Diego's Kearny Mesa and El Cajon areas had permanently closed. At that time, it was also believed the Vista location would not be reopening, but after being closed for more than three months because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Boomers Vista began welcoming Guests back by reopening its miniature golf course and arcade last Saturday, June 20.

"The health and safety of our Guests and Team Members continues to be our number one priority as we work to welcome guests back to the Park," said General Manager Garrett Gross. "We will continue working with our local leaders, health experts and our industry colleagues to ensure best practices are in place at Boomers Vista."

The experience at Boomers Vista will be different from time's past as the Park strives to deliver a fun, family experience while ensuring the health and safety of guests and employees. Boomers Vista will implement a series of measures following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and best practices within the amusement and attractions industries. The most important elements of the new safety measures at Boomers Vista include limiting capacity, pre-entry temperature checks for guests and employees, face coverings required for guests and staff, and social distancing measures, added sanitation stations, and enhanced cleaning.

"We will serve our Guests safely and effectively by limiting capacity, verifying all entrants do not have a temperature at or above 100.4° Fahrenheit and are wearing proper facial coverings, and following the CDC’s recommendations on cleaning, social distancing and sanitizing," added Gross.

Boomers Vista is located at 1525 W. Vista Way in San Diego's North County area of Vista. For more information, visit
