El Avocado Plant Based Food Opens In San Diego's La Jolla

Now open in the La Jolla Village space that last housed Gelateria Frizzante is El Avocado Plant Based Food, a scratch-made vegan eatery.

Despite the ongoing prohibition on indoor and outdoor dining operations in San Diego, El Avocado has fully opened in La Jolla. The scratch made eatery from executive chef and owner Shanti Claydon serves an entirely vegan menu featuring soups, organic salads, appetizers, wraps, toasts, sandwiches, gelato, and pastries, as well as coffee, tea and smoothies. The eatery also donates 10% of profits to a variety of charities and offers weekly meal prep featuring organic, plant-based, and gluten free meals delivered on a weekly basis.
