A Brazilian Bakery Is Coming To San Diego's Pacific Beach

February 23, 2021

A longtime area farmers market vendor and caterer, Coxinha Store will bring Brazilian finger foods to San Diego's beach area when it opens in the Pacific Beach Promenade this spring.

Raquel Moraes has been sharing her family's Brazilian baked goods recipes with San Diego for nearly a decade, first as the owner of Samba Brazilian Cuisine eatery in downtown San Diego and also as a vendor at area farmers markets and events. Moraes will soon open a Brazilian Bakery in San Diego's Pacific Beach.

Coxinha Store is expected to open as early as this April in Pacific Beach Promenade. The bakery will specialize in Brazilian stuffed potato croquettes, known as Coxinha, which will have fillings like chicken, cheese, vegan, ham & cheese, beef and hot dog. The eatery will also sell empanadas, meat pies, Brazilian cheese bread, and Brigadeiros, which are round desserts in a variety of flavors.

Coxinha Store will open this spring at 4190 Mission Boulevard in San Diego's Pacific Beach. For more information, visit coxinhastore.com and check out the menu below.
