San Diego's Attitude Brewing Set To Expand With Additional Locations Planned For North Park & Chula Vista

May 11, 2021

San Diego's 3-year-old Attitude Brewing Company has big expansion plans on the horizon and will open additional tasting rooms in North Park and Chula Vista.

Founded by Portland, Oregon-native and longtime homebrewer Kurt Bach, Attitude Brewing opened its flagship location within Mercado Del Barrio in San Diego's Barrio Logan in September 2018. Attitude Brewing was founded with the goal to offer cross-border appeal and produces an array of craft beer options from its 7.5 barrel brewing system. The original tasting room has a kitchen operated by San Diego Sliders Company

Attitude Brewing Company will soon begin work on its second area tasting room in the space currently occupied by Juneshine within North Park's CRAFT by Brewery Igniter building, as Juneshine is relocating to its new North Park home in the 2,000 square-foot unit on the base floor of the new The Jackson mixed-use community on 30th Street. Attitude Brewing Company will also launch a South County tasting room and restaurant in partnership with San Diego Sliders Company in the 3,500 square-foot unit at 221 Third Avenue in Chula Vista, which was previously planned to be leased by the team behind North Park's StreetCar Merchants Of Fried Chicken and Suckerfree Southern Plates & Bar in San Diego's Gaslamp. There is currently no concrete timeline on the opening of the new Attitude Brewing locations. Once up and running, the new locations will help Attitude to substantially increase brewing output.
