Tin Fish Seafood Restaurant To Launch New Outpost In San Diego's East County

May 27, 2021

Tin Fish, a seafood restaurant chain with several locations in San Diego, is opening a 4,000 square-foot lakefront outpost in East County next month.

The first Tin Fish restaurant was founded in San Diego by Joseph Melluso in 1998. There are now Tin Fish locations in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, on the Imperial Beach Pier, in Oceanside, as well as  three branches in Florida and one in Indiana.

The newest Tin Fish location will soft open on June 8 at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve and Campground, which houses seven man-made lakes and 190 acres of park space. The expansive space will be able to host almost 200 diners and have a large outdoor deck overlooking Lake 4. The Santee branch will be operated by Edward Kim, who is also the owner of the Imperial Beach restaurant. Like other Tin Fish branches, the Santee eatery will serve a menu centered around fresh seafood, including tacos, entrees, sandwiches, soups, salads and appetizers. There will also be a breakfast menu starting at 7am.

Tin Fish Santee is located at 9310 G Fanita Parkway inside the Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve and Campgrounds in San Diego's East County. For more information, visit tinfishonline.com.
