El Viejon To Bring Mexican Seafood With An Asian Twist To San Diego's Kearny Mesa

From the owners of Lupes Mexican Eatery and Holy Paleta, El Viejon is an incoming Mexican/Asian fusion seafood restaurant set to open this summer in San Diego's Kearny Mesa. 

From husband-and-wife partners Luis & Angelica Gonzalez, who also own several Lupe's Mexican Eatery locations and two Holy Paleta outposts, El Viejon Seafood will open as early as this July in the space that last housed the short-lived Chung Chun Rice Dog in Kearny Mesa. El Viejon will offer a menu of Mexican seafood dishes with an Asian twist,  as well as "exotic" seafood towers and seafood tacos, all created by Chef Raul Olmos. There will also be a variety of beer, Micheladas, margaritas, bottled Mexican sodas, and craft agua frescas. There will also be a few vegan items.
