Boochcraft To Bring Organic Hard Kombucha To San Diego's Normal Heights

February 8, 2022

California's first high-alcohol hard kombucha company Boochcraft will bring its farm-fresh beverage to San Diego's Normal Heights community.

In 2014, longtime friends from Ocean Beach Adam Hiner, Andrew Clark and Todd Kent opened a 5,200 square-foot hard kombucha brewery in San Diego's South County city of Chula Vista, which was considered California's first high-alcohol kombucha manufacturer. Boochcraft now sells their hard kombucha bottles and cans in 13 states across the United States and last year opened its first tasting room as part of The Sky Deck restaurant collective in Del Mar Highlands Town Center.

The Boochcraft team is partnering with Maya Moon Collective in Normal Height to offer a new tasting room component at the chocolate-fueled cafe and event space. Boochcraft will launch its onsite tasting area at Maya Moon later this year, offering a menu featuring the company's six core flavors (orange pomegranate, strawberry lemonade, lemon maple, apple jasmine, ginger lime and grapefruit hibiscus", as well as rotating seasonal kombuchas and heirloom series small batch recipes like kiwi, peach and sangria. Boochcraft makes its kombucha with fresh, organic produce sourced from family-owned farms and for every bottle sold, the company contributes to an agriculture nonprofit.

Boochcraft is expected to launch by this summer at 3349 Adams Avenue in San Diego's Normal Heights. For more information, visit boochcraft.com.
