Arizona-Based Fuku Sushi Opens In San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter

April 28, 2022

Now open in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter is Fuku Sushi, an Arizona-based Japanese sushi restaurant concept.

Founded in Tuscon, AZ, in 2011, Fuku Sushi offers an expansive menu of Japanese dishes ranging from sushi and ramen, to poke bowls and fish entrees. Purchased in 2013 by Matt Serventi, the restaurant has expanded to three branches in Arizona and got its start in San Diego with an outpost sited inside the Barrio Food Hub Cloudkitchen in Barrio Logan

Fuku Sushi has soft opened in the 1,866 square-foot space that last housed Patron's Corner in San Diego's Gaslamp. Like other branches, expect a menu centered around sushi rolls, as well as Japanese appetizers and entrees, ramen, and raw seafood dishes. The restaurant also has a full bar with cocktails, sake, beer and wine.

Fuku Sushi is located at 332 J Street, Suite #102, in downtown San Diego. For more information, visit fukusushico.com and check out the menu below.
