After a nearly five year run on the base floor of Westfield UTC mall in San Diego's La Jolla, Larsen's Steakhouse is set to shutter by month's end.
Opened in late November 2017, Larsen's Steakhouse was part of Westfield UTC's $600 million expansion, which included the addition of many new dining options like Raised By Wolves, Din Tai Fung, The Winery, and Javier's. Larsen's occupies 7,500-square-feet of space on the base floor of the upscale La Jolla mall. We received information that Westfield UTC would not extend its lease for the upscale surf & turf restaurant and the high-end mall already has a new, yet-to-be named tenant lined up to take over Larsen's expansive indoor and outdoor space.
Larsen's Steakhouse is expected to close after business on Sunday, April 24. We reached out to representatives from Larsen's Restaurants and Westfield UTC for comment but did not receive a statement by the time of publishing.
