The San Diego Reader is on the hunt to find the city's top burger and you can help them decide at the 5th Annual San Diego Burgers & Beer Festival at Golden Hill Park on Saturday, September 10. This all-inclusive food & beer fest gives attendees the chance to sample and vote on gourmet burgers from more than 20 of the best area restaurants. As usual with any great event in San Diego, we are raffling off 2 VIP tickets to attend, as well as offering promo code SDVILLE for savings on tickets.
Burgers & Beer brings together the top burger vendors from Southern California along with some of the area's top craft breweries. Attendees ultimately decide who will win, as each ticket holder will be given a token to place in a voting box on the table of their favorite vendor. The vendor who receives the most tokens gets the title of San Diego's Best Burger. While you eat your weight in burgers and bask in the San Diego sunshine, there will be live music, more than 40 breweries pouring unlimited samples of great beer and other craft beverages, local vendors dishing out merchandise, lawn games, and much more.
Participating breweries offering samples include Belching Beaver, Ace Cider, Burning Beard Brewing, Julian Hard Cider, Kairoa Brewing, Mission Brewery, Quantum Brewing, Second Chance Beer, Serpentine Cider, SouthNorte Beer, Wild Barrel Brewing, Kilowatt Brewing, Societe Brewing, Novo Brazil, Local Roots Kombucha, Eppig Brewing, Kookslams Hard Seltzer, Attitude Brewing, Sierra Nevada Brewing, Rip Current, Golden Coast Mead, Strainge Beast Hard Kombucha, Passion Tree Hard Seltzer, and more.
Tickets to Burgers & Beer are currently available online and will increase in price incrementally as the event draws closer. General Admission passes offer entrance from 1-4pm and unlimited burger & beer samples. VIP tickets offer an hour early entrance from 12-4pm and unlimited burger & beer tastes.
