Cafe Madeleine To Launch Third Area Location In San Diego's Barrio Logan

May 27, 2022

The third location of San Diego's Latin-inspired French bistro Café Madeleine will open on the base floor of a new mixed-use building in Barrio Logan.

Café Madeleine was founded in San Diego's South Park in 2010 by owner Christine Perez, who originally teamed up with French master chef & Hotel Del Coronado Executive Sous Chef Patrick Ponsaty to consult on creating the menu of crepes and other French specialities. In 2016, a second area outpost opened in North Park, which had a larger kitchen, allowing the eatery to add more items to the menu.

The newest Café Madeleine will open at the new Los Patio mixed-use apartment complex in Barrio Logan. Like other branches, expect coffee concoctions made with Illy Coffee and an all-day food menu featuring breakfast, sandwiches, quiches, pastries, croissants, crepes, and other French specialties.

Cafe Madeleine is expected to open this summer at 1776 National Avenue in San Diego's Barrio Logan community. For more information, visit cafemadeleinesd.com.
