East Village's Beshock Ramen is thrilled to announce San Diego’s largest sake celebration — San Diego Sake Festival 2022 with co-hosts Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana. Taking place at Ruocco Park in downtown San Diego's Seaport Village on Saturday, October 8, from 3-6pm, San Diego Sake Day will start with a traditional cedar sake barrel opening ceremony known as "Kagami Biraki." The event will feature tastings of over 50 different sake varieties from all over Japan and North American breweries, as well as live music and food available for purchase. Guests will receive their own sake tasting cups and all attendees will get a chance to mingle with local sake brewers and sommeliers to learn about the history and production of the world famous Japanese fermented rice wine.

Tickets to the San Diego Sake Day Festival are available online. General admission passes include sake and beverage samples, live entertainment and admission to the event. VIP tickets include all general admission benefits plus one hour early access to the festival (2pm-6pm), priority entry, three food samples, a special Kutaniyaki Sake cup, an original Nonbei tote bag, and a designated shaded VIP seating area.
