Munchies Food Club Outdoor Dining Collective To Open In San Diego's Pacific Beach

October 7, 2022

Opening soon in San Diego's Pacific Beach neighborhood is Munchies Food Club, an outdoor food garden and gathering place from local hospitality group Good Time Design (The Blind Burro, Moonshine Flats).

Founded in 2006 by local businessman and hospitality entrepreneur Ty Hauter, Good Time Design started with the openings of The Double Deuce, The Tipsy Crow and the original Whiskey Girl, which have since all been sold. The hospitality company currently operates around a dozen venues located in San Diego, CA and Nashville, TN, including Cerveza Jacks and Happy Does in San Diego's Gaslamp; The Blind Burro, Moonshine Flats, and Lucky's Lunch Counter in East Village; The Presley and Go Go Amigo in Liberty Station; and Moonshine Beach in Pacific Beach.

Munchies Food Club has installed in the outdoor area adjacent to Good Time Design's Moonshine Beach in central Pacific Beach. The outdoor food hall and garden will offer a collection of local eats and beverage options, including Lucky's at the Beach, an offshoot of the all-day, East Village diner-style eatery. Expect breakfast, lunch and dinner options including a smash burger, breakfast burrito, turkey club and more. The space will also have an 1988 minibus dubbed Manivela Coffee that will serve a menu of coffee, tea and espresso drinks. Other food and drink vendors will be added to the dining collective in the coming weeks.

Muchies Food Club is expected to open on Saturday, October 8, at 1165 Garnet Avenue in San Diego's Pacific Beach. For more information, follow Munchies on Instagram.
