The always highly-anticipated San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival returns for its 18th annual festival this November 8-13, offering a delicious lineup of culinary events, meals, and excursions.
Named the winner of the 2019 USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice travel award contest for Best General Food Festival, the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival returns to America's Finest City this November 2022. Tickets are now available for the annual culinary classic, which will once again feature the action-packed Grand Tasting, as well as other events showcasing San Diego and Baja’s celebrated chefs, international and domestic wineries, breweries, spirits, brand experiences and live entertainment.
In addition to the Grand Tasting on Saturday, November 12, other highlight events at this year's San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival include a Baja expedition with the knowledgeable Fernando Gaxiola of Baja Wine + Food on November 9; the Grand Decant ultimate wine tasting experience on November 11; Dinner with a Butcher at Ranch 45 in Solana Beach on November 11; and the brand new Grand Fiesta, replacing Mexican food-focused Taco TKO, to close out this year's festival on Sunday, November 13. The San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival offers several ways to indulge in the most awesome culinary experience of the year, including all-inclusive ticket packages that offer overall savings, and feature hotel accommodations as well as admission to a selection of the food and wine festival's premier events.
The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival raises money for local and national charities including scholarships for culinary, hospitality, enology, and viticulture students. To date, the Festival has donated more than $475,000 for aspiring professionals. Announcements on this year's recipients will be made in the coming months. Past participants have included the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Berry Good Food Foundation, AIWF, and Kitchens for Good.
