Ownership Of Historic Til-Two Club Take Over Corazon Del Barrio In San Diego's Barrio Logan

February 6, 2023

The husband and wife team behind San Diego's historic Til-Two Club in City Heights has taken over management of live music and event venue Corazon Del Barrio in Barrio Logan.

The current rendition of Til-Two Club is actually a revival of the haunt that was founded in the City Heights space at 4746 El Cajon Boulevard in 1942. In 2010, Mick Rossler and Dannielle Cobb (who also operate the Tower Bar down the street), took over what was then Beauty Bar and transformed it back into Til Two Club. In early 2019, husband and wife Matt Koken and Delanie "Dottie Deville" Gomes took over ownership of the bar and music venue.

Til Two Club ownership are now the new managing partners of Corazon Del Barrio, as the Corazon family is shifting their focus back to their popular taco shop Salud and their new bar La Bamba Room that should be opening in the summer. The newly combined collaboration will bring together Til Two Club's iconic bar and passion for live music with Corazon's pride for fostering the community, creating a unique and unparalleled experience for music lovers in San Diego.

"We are thrilled to join forces with Corazon and bring together two of San Diego's iconic locations," said Delanie Gomes. "Our shared passion for music and commitment to creating memorable experiences for our customers make this partnership a natural fit."

With this joint effort, Til Two Club and Corazon aim to provide the best possible environment for local and national musicians to showcase their talents. The venues will continue to offer a wide range of music genres, ensuring that there is something for everyone. The bigger capacity at Corazon will allow more national touring acts to come through to a 450 capacity audience.

"This merger represents an exciting new chapter for both Til Two Club and Corazon," added Matt Koken. "Our customers can expect the same great atmosphere, combined with an even more dynamic lineup of live music shows."

The partnership will take effect in March and the combined venue will continue to operate under the Corazon name. Til Two Club will still be operating in its original location in City Heights at 4746 El Cajon Boulevard and will be housing shows fit for their 188 capacity. Til Two Club is open daily from 4pm-2am.
