Consortium Holdings Hospitality Company To Bring New Persian-Inspired Bar & Restaurant To San Diego's North Park

March 14, 2023

Consortium Holdings hospitality group (Born & Raised, Underbelly) is in the process of launching several new dining concepts around San Diego, including opening a 5,000+ square-foot Persian bar & restaurant in North Park named Leila.

Consortium Holdings has big plans for a busy 2023. In addition to opening eight new bars & restaurants in San Diego's historic The Lafayette Hotel, Swim Club & Bungalows, the company is in the process of revamping Starlite Bar & Restaurant in San Diego's Middletown neighborhood, is opening a new bar & restaurant as part of its La Avenida Inn in Coronado, and is building a bakery, commissary kitchen and eatery in the shopping plaza at 3401 Adams Avenue in Normal Heights.

After The Lafayette Hotel and Starlite reopen later this year, Consortium Holdings will turn its attention on the launch of Leila restaurant on 30th Street in the heart of San Diego's bustling North Park neighborhood. At Leila, expect a Middle Eastern, Lebanese and Persian-inspired fusion menu pumping out from an open kitchen helmed by Consortium's new Director of Culinary Operations Perfecte Rocher. From the central bar, there will be a focus on Middle Eastern spirits, including Aragh sagi, which is a raisin-based spirit known as Iranian moonshine or "Persian Vodka", and Arak, a distilled Levantine spirit of the anise drinks family.

Leila is anticipated to open by late summer/early fall at 3956 30th Street in San Diego's North Park. For more information, visit consortiumholdings.com.
