Master builders from North County's Legoland amusement park have constructed amazing replicas of some of San Diego's most iconic landmarks, including Balboa Park, The Rady Shell, the Convention Center, Petco Park, and much more.
The world's first LEGO City of San Diego unveiled today inside MINILAND U.S.A. at Legoland in San Diego's North County. Featuring 55 of the city's most iconic landmarks in LEGO form, more than 5 million lego bricks were used to create the display. This is the sixth city to be featured in Legoland's Miniland USA area.The Petco Park replica alone took a team of four Master Model Builders a total of 1,200 hours and 150,000 bricks to complete. The new San Diego attraction joins Las Vegas, New York, Washington D.C., and San Francisco inside Minland at Legoland California theme park.
