May 29, 2023

The San Diego County Fair returns at full force with an adventure theme this June 7 through July 4, offering a jam packed lineup of concerts, food vendors, carnival rides and events.

The 2023 San Diego County Fair is back and better than ever with the theme "Get Out There," a celebration of the great outdoors. The highly-anticipated annual summertime kick-off will bring back exciting carnival rides, delicious foods, animal showcases, art installations, photography exhibits, special events, concerts and so much more.

The San Diego County Fair begins on Wednesday, June 7 and will take place through the 4th of July. The attraction is open every day except Mondays and Tuesdays starting at 11am. Tickets for adults age 13-61 are $20 on weekends and $15 on weekdays ($17 and $12 for seniors & children age 6-12). Children 5 and younger get in free anytime. This year's fair is cashless, and tickets and parking passes should be purchased online in advance, although that is not required. Those interested in maximizing their carnival rides experience should look into buying a BlastPass or visiting the fair on Pepsi Pay-One-Price Ride Days on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Touring acts performing at this year's Toyota Summer Concert Series and Chevrolet Paddock Concert Series include Train, comedian Kevin Hart, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Boyz II Men, Stephen Marley, Nelly, Elle King, Alabama, Switchfoot and many more. There will also be special events like the Toast of the Coast Wine Festival and San Diego International Beer Festival, as well as culture-themed days like Out at the FairAsian & Pacific Islander Festival, and Gospel Festival.

The San Diego County Fair takes place from Wednesday, June 7, through Monday, July 4, at The Del Mar Fairgrounds, located at 2260 Jimmy Durante Boulevard in San Diego's Del Mar community. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit sdfair.com.
