The Las Vegas-based hospitality company behind such San Diego hotspots as Lionfish in the Gaslamp and Serea at Hotel Del Coronado is opening two new area restaurants.
Clique Hospitality was founded in 2001 by Andy Masi, the former Light Group founder and CEO, along with his partners Brian Massie and Shane Monaco. The hospitality firm specializes in "upscale, comfortable and trendsetting dining spots in Las Vegas, Florida and San Diego. Locally, it developed Lionfish, Oxford Social Club, and The Pool House for downtown's Pendry San Diego hotel, Serēa Coastal Cuisine at Hotel Del Coronado, three concepts at San Diego's Sycuan Casino, Temaki Bar Handrolls & Sake in Encinitas, and Joya Organic Kitchen in Torrey Pines. Clique also has plans to build another luxury hotel in San Diego's Gaslamp in the spot where Dick's Last Resort and Gaslamp Strip Club once sat.
The next San Diego projects for Clique Hospitality is opening a pair of all-day restaurants within the currently under-construction Torrey View by Breakthrough 10-acre life sciences campus being built in Torrey Pines. The office complex will offer panoramic ocean views, as well as a conference center, fitness space, pickleball court, fire pits, park space and an onsite restaurant and rooftop bar from Clique. Although little information on the concepts are available, the names of the two eateries are currently set to be Salt Wind and Sea Pine. Expect seasonally-driven menus prepared in collaboration between Clique Executive Chef Ryan Bullock and Corporate Chef Executive Chef Partner Jose "JoJo" Ruiz.
Salt Wind and Sea Pine restaurants are expected to open in early 2024 at 11220 El Camino Real in San Diego's Torrey Pines area. For more information, visit cliquehospitality.com.
