After More Than 40 Years In Business, San Diego's Flour Power Cakery To Close Its Doors

After more than 40 years in business and countless wedding cakes served, San Diego's Flour Power Cakery is closing its doors. 

"We have some important news to share," wrote Flower Power Cakery. "After years of serving up smiles and sweet treats, Flour Power will be closing its doors. This was not an easy decision for us. If you want to enjoy one last Flour Power cake please order by Saturday, February 24, 2024 by 3:00 PM. The last day to pick up an order will be Saturday, March 2, 2024. We will also, have case cake available until March 2nd. In addition, all party supplies, (candles, stationery, paper plates, cake knives), are 50% off.  We want to extend our deepest gratitude for your support over the years. It’s been a joy and a privilege to be a part of your celebrations and sweet moments over the years."

Flour Power Cakery has been serving San Diego through its El Cajon bakery since first opening its doors in 1982. Operated by Tricia Charbonnet and family, the bakery specializes in custom-made cakes, as well as cupcakes and other desserts.

Flour Power Cakery will continue operating under normal hours through March 2 at 2389 Fletcher Parkway in San Diego's El Cajon. For more information, visit flourpower.com.
