"It's Always Sunny" Star Takes Over Several San Diego Bars To Promote Whiskey Brand

Glenn Howerton, renowned for his portrayal of the enigmatic and often morally questionable character Dennis Reynolds on the hit comedy sitcom "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," took on a new role on Tuesday, stepping behind the bar at several San Diego hotspots to promote his whiskey company.

The actor, known for his wit and charm on screen, showcased his real-life bartending skills at four San Diego bars, including Seven Grand Whiskey Bar in North Park, Rabbit Hole in Normal Heights, Aero Club in Middletown, and Live Wire Bar in North Park. Howerton also did a bottle signing and meet and greet at Total Wine & More in Mission Valley. 

Fans of the hit sitcom were treated to a unique opportunity to meet Howerton in person while enjoying some of his whiskey, Four Walls Irish American Whiskey. As Howerton mixed drinks and engaged with patrons, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement and laughter. Many fans couldn't resist snapping selfies with the actor.
Four Walls is a new Irish American Whiskey brand from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" stars Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton and Charlie Day, made in tribute to the four walls the gang calls home - the bar. "The Gang's" partnership with the whiskey brand adds a touch of celebrity allure, drawing fans and whiskey enthusiasts alike.
The event not only served as a promotional opportunity for Four Walls Irish American Whiskey but also allowed Howerton to engage directly with fans in a more intimate setting. His charismatic presence behind the bar undoubtedly added an extra layer of excitement to the evening, as he was seen taking photos and interacting with many customers throughout his three appearances around San Diego.
For fans of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," seeing Glenn Howerton in person and getting a taste of his bartending skills was an experience to remember. And for those who attended, it was a night filled with laughter, good company, and, of course, whiskey.

Howerton is no stranger to San Diego. In summer 2015, the actor starred in a rendition of the Shakespeare play The Comedy of Errors at the Old Globe Theatre as part of the Globe's 80th Anniversary festivities during the Balboa Park Centennial Celebration. He has also appeared at several iterations of San Diego Comic-Con International.
