The North County San Diego location of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen restaurant has appointed a new executive chef.
In August 2022, the 332-seat Hells Kitchen restaurant opened within Harrah's SoCal in Northern San Diego County. The largest of the six Hells Kitchen restaurants sited around the world, the space boasts several chef's tables, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the casino, red and blue show kitchens, a private dining room and a contemporary bar serving a full cocktail list, beer and wine.
Harrah's Resort SoCal has appointed chef John Silva as the properties new Executive Chef. Silva, who is a San Diego native, has been in the restaurant industry since childhood as his family operated a Mexican restaurant called Las Parrillas Mexican Food in El Cajon. Silva also previously worked locally at Lake Arrowhead Yacht & Country Club, Viejas Casino & Resort, and as head chef of Lucha Libre Taco Shop during the popular taqueria's early days.
