The Lot La Jolla has changed their restaurant to become a new all-day concept dubbed Zentrl Kitchen + Bar. Open to the public even without a movie ticket, the new eatery offers a brand new menu that includes breakfast items like chilaquiles verdes and creme brulee French toast, as well as sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, flatbreads, and even sushi. There is also a whole new cocktail menu. The Lot is testing the new Zentrl Kitchen brand first at their La Jolla branch before potentially bringing this same concept and name to all of their other locations in Southern California.
Founded in La Jolla in 2015, The Lot is a luxury cinema concept with a full-service, in-house restaurant, cafe, and bar. The company expanded into San Diego's Liberty Station in 2017, then in 2018 opened branches in Fashion Island lifestyle center in Newport Beach and City Center in San Ramon. From the minds of part of the creative team that developed Cinépolis luxury movie theaters, including La Jolla resident Adolfo Fastlicht, The Lot features new releases, box-office hits, independent films, and hosts watch parties for annual television events like the Super Bowl and The Oscars.
