The upcoming Petco Park renovations focus on several key areas: the Budweiser Loft, Foul Pole Suite, Entertainment Suite, Rooftop, and the Padres New Era Team Store. The upgrades promise enhanced amenities, refined hospitality, and improved group accommodations for fans.
The Budweiser Loft on the fifth level of the Western Metal Building will receive a significant upgrade. Fans can expect a refreshed bar, new premium furnishings, and game options, all while retaining the building’s historic charm. The most notable addition is a new grand staircase that will connect the Loft directly to the Rooftop, improving accessibility and overall guest flow. The Budweiser Loft, open to the public, will continue to host a Member Happy Hour.
In addition to the Loft, the Rooftop itself will undergo a major transformation. This remodeled 4,000-square-foot raised deck will offer improved sightlines, expanded seating, and new amenities, such as covered trellis areas with shade and overhead heating. The Rooftop will also feature two large 16x9’ videoboards, ensuring fans won’t miss any game action. Designed to accommodate larger gatherings, the Rooftop will prioritize groups of 300 or more, with the new staircase enabling connectivity to the Budweiser Loft for events exceeding 1,000 guests.
The Foul Pole Suite inside the Budweiser Loft, located near the left field foul pole, will be enhanced with luxury finishes, new furnishings, and an updated catering layout. With expanded capacity, the suite is ideal for groups of 20 or more, offering an intimate and exclusive experience.
The Entertainment Suite near the left field porch will also see upgrades, providing an extended exterior deck and additional field-facing seating. Inside, guests will find luxury finishes, improved privacy, a redesigned catering layout, and access to updated restrooms. This suite, situated in prime home run territory, is available for groups of 16 or more.
The Padres New Era Team Store will grow by approximately 1,000 square feet, allowing for a more streamlined shopping experience. The expansion will include new modern finishes, lighting, optimized merchandise displays, and additional checkout locations to improve service and reduce wait times.
