San Diego Spirits Festival at MCASD La Jolla (September 27-28) - The 16th annual San Diego Spirits Festival takes over the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla with unlimited cocktails, spirit tastings, and entertainment by samba dancers, DJs, and live performers. Suffs at San Diego Civic Theatre (September 30 - October 5) - Fresh from Broadway, Suffs brings the story of the American women’s suffrage movement to the San Diego Civic Theatre. Written by Shaina Taub and winner of the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best New Musical, the show explores the struggles, triumphs, and unfinished fight for equality led by brilliant, passionate suffragists.
