Have you heard about Reds Saloon’s weekly comedy night? Located below The Wood, Reds is Pacific Beach’s only country bar and it turns into a hot spot for free comedy each Wednesday night. Reds hosts some of today’s hottest comedians who have performed on Comedy Central, late night talk shows and more.  Doors open at 8pm, local comics start the night at 9pm and headliners take the stage shortly thereafter. Reds offers specials like late night happy hour until 11pm and half-priced bottles of wine until close each Wednesday.

Del Mar has announced the lineup for its 2014 Summer Concert Series at the track, featuring the most eclectic mix of performers in the series’ 21-year history. This season’s star-studded lineup will appeal to all ranges of musical tastes and concert fans. Kicking off the musical fun is alternative hip-hop group Jurassic 5, followed by headliners such as electro house DJ Steve Aoki, British classic rock band The Cult, Neon Trees, and California’s own Counting Crows. Also, track favorites Weezer and Ziggy Marley are back to rock the house for their loyal San Diego fans.
