Belmont Park is excited to announce its much anticipated concept, Draft, is on tap to open late Spring 2014, at 3105 Ocean Front Walk. Serving “Brews and Views” the inventive menu is influenced by the restaurant’s extensive craft beer selection. Designed by Mauricio Couturier and Hollis Brand Culture, Draft sits on the boardwalk overlooking the Pacific Ocean and all the action on Mission Beach. A laidback aesthetic reigns, but hightech details including a huge video projector screen, set Draft apart.

Uniquely, Draft will encourage a communal tasting approach with an extensive large format “bottle share” program designed to inspire beer exploration, experimentation and enjoyment with likeminded people. “Draft will take the ‘scene’ out of drinking quality beer. We’ll offer a huge selection of craft beer that will rotate seasonally and there will be opportunities for beer education as well. But, no one will sneer if you order an ice cold light beer, which can be the perfect complement to a day on the beach”, promises Director of Operations, Justin Lopez.
Draft, a fresh take on beachside dining, will feature casual, handcrafted fare from Belmont Park Executive Chef Brad Wise. The allday menu includes swoonworthy share plates, such as pork belly corndogs with truffled mustard; inventive “handhelds”, such as the pistachio crusted salmon sandwich; and tavern classics, such as BBQ baby back ribs. Nightly happy hour and weekend brunch entice visitors and locals alike to this oceanfront locale.
Draft is the newest addition to Belmont Park’s distinctive dining options, which include Cannonball Sushi, WaveHouse Bar & Grill, North Shore Café and premium food courtstyle dining.
