Pacific Beach Bar & Grill Sold To Verant Group Partners

The sale of PB Bar & Grill has been finalized. Eric Lingenfelder and Mark Cirillo of the Verant Group and David Cohen (formerly of West Coast Tavern and co-owner of Uptown Tavern) purchased the building and the business. They have closed down the bar and restaurant and start an extensive remodel, hoping to reopen sometime this summer.

Pacific Beach Bar and Grill is closed as of April 15th. Eric Lingenfelder and Mark Cirillo of the Verant Group and David Cohen are putting their passion for the community of Pacific Beach into action with the exciting task of enhancing the look and feel of this well-known hotspot. Responsible for developing and successfully managing many of San Diego’s top establishments such as barleymash, Sandbar, Tavern at the Beach, West Coast Tavern, Uptown Tavern, and True North, Verant team members are proven successful at creating inviting spaces that are well received by locals and visitors alike.With the design and architecture being headed up by Bluemotif Architecture, which helped put winning restaurants such as Prep Kitchen, Kettner Exchange and Juniper and Ivy on the map of “go-to” destinations, the new concept is sure to excite.
