The ultimate San Diego culinary extravaganza returns to the Fairmont Grand Del Mar on Sunday, September 13. For the 12th year, the Flavors of San Diego Culinary Gala will present an amazing epicurean event where up to 30 of San Diego's premier chefs will create an extraordinary gourmet experience for each guest. This is a memorable evening where San Diegans get to see these culinary masters at work - showcasing their imaginations and exceptional talents - while also benefiting the worthwhile efforts of the American Liver Foundation.
For the Flavors of San Diego Gala, each participating chef prepares a five course gourmet dinner with wine pairings for their table of ten guests. Each table is adorned with beautiful centerpieces and uniquely decorated by each restaurant and chef and each table receives a different line up of dishes, carefully curated by the chef. The evening begins with wine and tray passed hors d’oeuvres reception and a silent auction.
After the reception, guests will be escorted by their chef to their table inside of the grand ballroom within the Fairmont where they will enjoy the signature cuisine and wine parings of their chef host, while also participating in a live auction featuring exciting trips, unique experiences, wine collections, personally hosted parties in their homes by some of the featured chefs and more.

Proceeds from the Gala will directly benefit the American Liver Foundation, Pacific Coast & Hawaii Division, helping fund their mission of providing educational programs, advocacy and support, and to fund research for better treatments and cures of all liver diseases.
