On Thursday, May 17, from 6-8:30pm, the San Diego Council on Literacy will take over the Air & Space Museum in Balboa Park for its annual culinary fundraising festival. Eat. Drink. Read. will make taste buds soar as more than 20 of San Diego's top chefs prepare inspired tastings based off their favorite childhood book! We are raffling off 2 passes to this fantastic event!
Now in its ninth year, the San Diego Council on Literacy’'s signature fundraising event continues to grow in popularity, with more celebrated chefs joining the fleet to create ingenious bites inspired by their favorite literary tales and characters. San Diego brewers, distillers and winemakers will also bring their libations to the event, which will feature live music and a chef battle –with awards presented by judges for “Best Dish,” “Best Dessert,” “Best Display” and “People’s Choice.”
