Orange County's Nick's Restaurant To Open San Diego Location

July 19, 2019

Nick's Restaurant, an American steak and seafood eatery with 5 locations around California's Orange County, will open a location in San Diego's newly minted One Paseo development.

The first location of Nick's Restaurant was opened by Nick Nickoloff (who is the son of the founder of Claim Jumper restaurants) in Laguna Beach in 2008 and now has additional outposts in San Clemente, Long Beach, Manhattan Beach and Pasadena. The restaurants feature a classic American comfort food menu and a California-style open-air decor.

The San Diego location of Nick's will install within the brand new One Paseo retail compound in Del Mar, which also houses locations of Salt & Straw, The Shake Shack, Tender Greens, Parakeet Cafe, The Butchery, Joe and the Juice, Blue Bottle Coffee, Susie Cakes, North Italia, Mizukiyama Sushi, and the recently unveiled celebrity-driven International Smoke, as well as the upcoming openings of Ways & Means Oyster House, CAVA Grill, Tocaya Organica, Sweetfin Poke, URBN Pizza, Juice Crafters, Le Macaron, and Harland Brewing. The restaurant is expected to open in first quarter 2020 and will serve a menu of upscale-yet-casual dishes complimented by a sophisticated and approachable design.
