After being closed for months due to the coronavirus pandemic, SeaWorld San Diego has announced it will reopen on a limited-capacity basis for a several-weekend program called "Zoo Days Bayside BBQ & Brews."
After being cleared to reopen last week by the San Diego County officials, SeaWorld San Diego announced today the launch of a new park experience dubbed Zoo Days: Bayside BBQ & Brews. Similar to the annual Seven Seas Food Festival, this limited capacity, ticketed event will provide guests with the chance to enjoy a variety of craft brews and barbecue-centric dishes while exploring 40 acres of the park's property where outdoor animal exhibits and marine life presentations will occur with physical distancing measures in place.
Each ticket for includes park entry, access to all outdoor animal exhibits and presentations as well as a tasting lanyard to experience SeaWorld's chef created barbecue and paired craft beer offerings and select wines. The tasting lanyard will include six food or drink items of each guest's choice to indulge in new offerings throughout the day, while exploring the vast park grounds. Additional lanyards will also be available for purchase. Tickets are available for $74.99 for adults and $64.99 for children (ages 3-9). Tickets must be purchased online in advance to help park officials manage guest capacity.
